Emergency Access
With reasonable notice to the tenant, usually 24 hours notice, a landlord may enter a tenant’s rental unit in the event of any emergency; to make repairs or improvements; to conduct an annual inspection for maintenance and safety purposes; or to show the premises to prospective buyers or tenants. Failure to provide emergency access can be grounds for eviction.
