A Notice to Cure, also known as a Default Notice, is served on a tenant, by the landlord, after the tenant has violated a term or condition of the lease or tenancy. This Notice gives the tenant a specific amount of time to cure the lease violation. The amount of time given to a tenant to fix or cure the lease violation under the new 2019 law is 30 days.
