Only Marshals can legally evict and assist the landlord in regaining access to his/her apartment. Once a judge has signed both the judgment for rent owed and a warrant of eviction, the Marshal will serve the tenant with a 14 Day Notice which requires the tenant to vacate the premises or face eviction by the Marshal.
