Housing Development
  • New Homes Land Acquisition (NLHA) Fund-  NHLA assists in the acquisition of property that will be used to develop new affordable housing, or property that will be rehabilitated or adaptive reused for fair and affordable homeownership or rental housing. To learn more, click HERE.
  • Housing Implementation Fund (HIF)- HIF assists in the construction of municipally-owned infrastructure that supports the development of new fair and affordable homeownership or rental housing. To learn more, click HERE. 
  • HOME Investment Partnership- HOME funds are used to develop and support fair and affordable single or multi-family housing. To learn more, click HERE.

Housing Rehabilitation  and Rental Assistance
  • Department of Social Services(DSS)- The most significant public housing assistance provider in Westchester County. It provides a variety of services to county residents including housing subsidy programs, temporary assistance,  homeless services and emergency assistance for tenants that are going to be evicted.
  • Weatherization Referral Assistance Program (WRAP)- WRAP funds are used for the energy conservation rehabilitation of single family homes of elderly homeowners, (age 60 or over) which are used as a primary residence. Eligible conservation measures include the replacement of roofs, boilers, windows, and storm doors. To learn more, click HERE.
  • Westhab- Nonprofit provider of affordable housing and supportive services in Westchester County. Helps homeless families and individuals found housing. To learn more, click HERE.
  • Lead Safe Westchester (LSW) Program- LSW funds are used to rehabilitate single or multi-family housing in order to eliminate or control lead-based paint hazards. To learn more, click HERE.
  • Property Improvement Program- PIP funds are used to rehabilitate single or multi-family housing. Funds can be used to acquire and rehabilitate property for fair and affordable rental or homeownership housing, including accessory apartments. To learn more, click HERE.
  • Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA)- The HOPWA program awards grants for the acquisition, construction, rehabilitation, conversion, lease and repair of buildings that provide housing for persons with AIDS. To learn more, click HERE.
