Housing Rehabilitation and Rental Assistance
- Department of Social Services(DSS)- The most significant public housing assistance provider in Westchester County. It provides a variety of services to county residents including housing subsidy programs, temporary assistance, homeless services and emergency assistance for tenants that are going to be evicted.
- Weatherization Referral Assistance Program (WRAP)- WRAP funds are used for the energy conservation rehabilitation of single family homes of elderly homeowners, (age 60 or over) which are used as a primary residence. - Lead Safe Westchester (LSW) Program- LSW funds are used to rehabilitate single or multi-family housing in order to eliminate or control lead-based paint hazards. To learn more, click HERE.
